The raw determination, persistence and personal funding of an Internet manager at Luther Nissan Kia, and some help from the store, netted more than 100 bicycles for people, mostly children, in Jamaica.

state to pick up free bikes.  He found companies to donate the shipping.  After 23 days stuck in a Jamaican port, the ocean container was finally released and J.P. and his crew had about 90 minutes to distribute them before he was due at the airport.  “We got through it and it was just life changing,” he said.

For Christmas of 2016, J.P. is upping the goal to 300 bikes, and 1,000 soccer balls.  He already has Chik-fil-A committed for 100 balls.  See onelovebrigade.com or One Love Brigade on Facebook.
