Luther Auto stores and the company overall have supported the food shelf supplier through the years.
She describes the nonprofit as a “small but mighty” organization that serves as a larger food supplier for 107 area foodshelves throughout Minnesota.
The event raised $124,000, up significantly from $90,000 in 2014. Funds are designated for healthy and nutritious foods, with an emphasis on fresh produce.Luther’s Chief Financial Officer, Barb Hilbert, serves on The Food Group board.
