As the winner of Volkswagen’s prestigious Wolfsburg Crest award and DealerRater’s U.S. “Dealer of the Year” for Volkswagen, Burnsville VW has many things going right.bvvw-wolfsburg-crest-club-web

It was the only VW store in Minnesota to achieve Wolfsburg status and one of three in an eight state region.
GM Jay Radue said team members  work very well together as a team, even across sales and service departments.  Wolfsburg is based on sales and CSI, but also market penetration.
“We are so very excited to bring this award home twice over the last two years, and three out of the past four years, said Internet Manager Mike Barcalow.

Brookdale Buick up 83%
Moving to domestics, it was Brookdale Buick GMC that was number one in year to date sales in the state through April.  Buick was up 82.7 percent.  “We’ve done a good job of making things work … people are excited to keep it going,” said New Car Manager Adam Burns.

Prez awards for imports
In the state’s southwest, Luther Mankato Honda won the company’s President’s Award for the first time.

Just two Honda stores in Minnesota won and less than 100 nationwide, Lindsay said. Mankato Honda team members each received a Tourneau watch for an outstanding brook-toy-prez-award-webeffort, he explained.
Brookdale Toyota also garnered the President’s Award from its manufacturer, for its 10th year running.

GM Ron Murray said the store hit market share, CSI and customer retention goals.

With Luther Collision & Glass in Fargo, some notable recognition came in the March issue of FenderBender magazine, in a story titled “Lessons from Highly Efficient Shops.”

Heralded for an overall technician efficiency above 210 percent, the piece explained how Manager Bob Langlie matches the workload and job type with the best technicians based on skills and expertise.
