New way to bring sales to service customers


Like maître d’s at fine hotels, Vehicle Exchange Program staff members at Rudy Luther Toyota & Scion approach service customers to present an easy opportunity to purchase a vehicle.

Customers can have their cars appraised in the shop while they wait for service, which saves time, explains Vehicle Exchange rep Kurt Daugherty.  It’s a great opportunity, because more than half of RLT’s service customers are new to sales.  The pilot program began here for Luther Auto, and variations of it are used at other stores.  From left are representatives Dave Hanson, Marita Savatdy and Daugherty.
