Recognizing servant leadership, community service and more, the Federal Executive Board and White House Liaison Office recognized Hudson Chevrolet GMC with the 2015 Service Excellence Award.
“This is the first time a dealership has ever been awarded this in our nation,” said Joe Schmitt, executive director of the Federal Executive Board for Minnesota. Schmitt said the Hudson store provides service that’s above and beyond the expectations of its customers and is engaged in business to business partnerships.
After receiving the award with General Manager Tim Jubie, Hudson Mayor Alan Burchill thanked Luther Automotive for reinvesting in the community with its new service center.
Jubie credited his store team. “I have a great crew of excellent staff people and several staff members who are active in the community. This is really about them. They are the ones who make it happen,” he said.
The executive board checked Hudson Chevrolet’s consumer and Better Business Bureau records, conferred with the Chamber of Commerce and verified Jubie’s background, he explained. The store is involved in many community efforts.
Schmitt presented Hudson Chev with a bronze bust of an eagle and a framed certificate with an attractive emblem.
“It’s always very impactful for me to reach out to those organizations that are serving in the outlying areas of Minnesota and Wisconsin to provide recognition,” said Schmitt.
