In an unusual twist for car dealerships, prizes and celebrations were held for the stores that bought the most cars from consumers.  Honors for success in the “We Buy” program were bestowed by store size, with Mankato Honda, Brookdale Chrysler and Brookdale Chevrolet rounding out the top slots and reaping the benefits of barbecue celebrations and prizes.

“Pounding” the airwaves with “We Buy” radio ads helped secure a win for Mankato.  “We hit her hard, you know,” said General Sales Manager Chris Schroeder of Mankato Honda.

Large store winner Brookdale Buick GMC had no lack of excitement.  “If they would let me, I would make this the ‘We Buy’ capital of the world,” said GSM Angie Tufts.

Darin Hendley was the top buyer at Mankato Honda, which won the small store division.
