Employees at Brookdale Honda were part of an unusual February celebration to bring some needed warmth.
A Hawaiian beach party ensued. “Everyone is so down and sick of the cold and winter, so we thought we’d heat it up for an afternoon!” said Kammi Deucore, payroll administrator. Brooming and pushing cars and snow plowing were taking their toll.
A food truck was brought in, and a steel drum band played. Games and costumes helped spread the cheer. “It’s our typical silliness,” said GM Jim Haertzen.
