Nicole Stachowski, Jaguar Land Rover, married Chris Killeen, who also works at the store. Nicole’s mother, Ruth, is an employee as well.

Eric Crear at Brookdale Chevrolet welcomed his nearly 9 1/2 pound son, Leon, to the world on July 15.

At Luther Bloomington Hyundai, Melissa Thurston’s daughter, Bella, and the Advance Blue Mites with Bloomington Jefferson, are playing hockey at Xcel Energy Center.

Katie Anderson, of Jaguar Land Rover Minneapolis, gave birth to Owen Nealon August 25. He was five pounds and about three weeks early.

Jamie Lambert, Luther Family Ford, gave birth to Evelyn Grace on September 25. She was 6 pounds, 2 ounces.

After more than a 40 year career at Westside Volkswagen, Service Manager John Olson has retired. He joined the dealership when he was fresh out of the Army and then worked his way up, going from lube technician to regular technician, shop foreman and finally service manager. His VW ties went even further back, since he worked for a time at a VW dealership in Germany in the 70s. He also owned a 1961 Beetle when he was a teenager in Wisconsin.

Cashier Gloria Stoldorf has retired from Luther Brookdale Chevrolet after 27 years in the business, the last seven with Luther. “I just love the customers, and getting to know them. That’s what makes it fun,” she said.

Correction: The last issue of the Luther News incorrectly stated that Lisa Radunzel’s (Hudson Chrysler) daughter was going off to college at UW-River Falls. She graduated from the school in May.
