Hudson Chevrolet GMC opened new doors to an expanded show floor with a new customer lounge and service drive on Labor Day weekend.
Anticipation levels were high as sales staff members had been working from temporary offices for five months. The old store did not feature an indoor receiving area for service customers. “It’s the new service drive if anything else,” said Jeff McKorkel in sales. “(Previously) people didn’t know where to go, where to park.”
The two-lane drive aisle is complemented by expanded contemporary restrooms and a playroom for children, explained Linda McGinty in property management for Luther Auto. Most will see the store’s new blue metal panel portal, with large Chevrolet lettering and the bow tie logo on top. “It has a much better presence from the freeway.”
