Fast growing brand now seventh in market share
Prime dealership real estate meets a primo Korean growth brand in Luther Kia of Bloomington, which after five months on its own lot is rising to the number two slot in sales for the district behind only Luther Nissan Kia to the east.
A remodeled dealership across the street from its old digs rounds out Luther’s increasing presence near the Interstate-494 strip.
In some months, the store puts five times as many new Kias in customer hands than it did when it shared space with Hyundai and Mitsubishi, explains General Sales Manager Ryan Radosevich. Managed in conjunction with Luther Nissan Kia, the area’s leading Kia store for years, the Bloomington operation can sell from both lots.
“It certainly has its challenges, but it’s also high reward,” said Radosevich. “We continue to be excited– getting from a small level to a large level fast.”
The GSM describes his staff as “absolutely focused,” and a focused team that has fun and provides the best guest experience. “We take care of each other … we take care of them and they come back.”
