We Ask Employees

Tell us about a great road trip.

“We’re going to Colorado and Sturgis, S.D. on a motorcycle … 2,800 miles. It’s the first time– that’s why we’re doing it, my wife and two other couples. We’ll pull a little trailer behind the bike … and camp for one night when we get into Sturgis. We plan to ride all the hills and the Needles Highway in South Dakota … the Black Hills … 10 days total. We’ll try to do

Colorado in a day and a half. Adventurous? Oh yeah.”

Stephanie LaCanne“My sister and I …wanted to go to a Minnesota Wild game in California so we decided to drive. We convinced our mom to go with. We encountered some icy roads on the way out there but were able to make it … a couple days later. (After) two Wild games out there (in Los Angeles and Anaheim) then started the trek home. We stopped in New Mexico and got lost on a forest road but managed to get out safely … the rest went off with out a hitch. We had a lot of fun. Taking the road trip allowed us to see a lot of interesting places. We will take many more road trips, there is no question of that.”

“We went down to Missouri, to the Ozarks … with family.  We all met up for my nephew’s graduation down there.  It’s very wooded and hilly in that area, very pretty.  The scenery, once you come into Missouri when you got close to Lake of the Ozarks– being in with nature, very nice, very pretty.”
